Should I get your e-mails automatically, or do I need to
sign up somewhere?
|
|
|
You should get Lunch Deluxe and Lunch Weekly automatically,
within one working day after signing up, if you are a new member, or
after changing the address on file from your Account page if you have
updated your data. (Lunch Weekly is sent every Sunday night or
Monday morning.)
The Daily Deals e-mail is optional, sent every weekday
evening, To receive it, click the
"your account"
tab on the left, and hit the "subscribe" button in the Mail section
by the Daily Deals mailing.

I used to get your mail and then it suddenly stopped.
What gives?
|
|
|
Check with your ISP, technical department, and/or any mail
filtering/blocking software you might use, and thoroughly search
any bulk mail or spam folders you may have.
Make sure they are allowing mail originating from publisherslunchdaily.com,
and coming from the sending address
lunch@publisherslunchdaily.com
(IP address: 67.201.37.165).
(If you have opted for Lunch dispatch from the Marketplace server rather than
from our standard mailing service, mobileStorm [see FAQ #3], the sending address is
lunch@publishersmarketplace.com, and
the IP address is 72.32.6.33.)
Sometimes putting that sending address in your personal address
book can help, too.
And please note, Lunch Deluxe is posted to PublishersMarketplace.com
at the same time it is mailed, and every issue is archived there as well.
Click the "lunch archive" tab on the left, or go directly to:
http://www.publishersmarketplace.com/lunch/
If you use an RSS reader (or can follow RSS feeds within your
browser), you can add this feed for Publishers Lunch Deluxe:

I did that, too, but I'm still not getting it. What else can
we try?
|
|
|
You can e-mail us at
lunch@publishersmarketplace.com
and we'll check your record to make sure it's live in the mail database and
correct. Sometimes if you use a mail autoreply for more than a
couple of days, the system thinks your address is no longer live and
stops mailing you.
To the best of our knowledge, popular web-mail services such as Yahoo
and Gmail will never block our mail, but they can put it in the
bulk/spam folder on any given day, even if they usually let it through.
Yahoo will let you create a "filter" in which you tell it to always put
Publishers Lunch and Lunch Weekly into your inbox. Go to: Options >
Management: Filters.
Gmail lets you create a "filter" that will "star" the mail (or other
actions that you can specify). Go to: Settings > Filters.
Another great alternative is to try our secondary mail server, which
sends Lunch Deluxe right from the dedicated PublishersMarketplace.com
server instead of through the larger mobileStorm system. Since we are
the only ones who mail through this server, it tends not to get blocked
as much. The Marketplace server will not be disabled by autoreplies, so
that may work better for you if you use autoreplies frequently.
You can try this option, and switch back and forth between our
server and the mobileStorm server, at any time. Click the
"your account"
tab on the left, and go to the Mail section to change your sending
option. It works well for hundreds of members, so please don't
hesitate to give it a try. For this option, you can also add the
sending address lunch@publishersmarketplace.com to your address
book.

What's weird is that I get the nightly deals fine, but Lunch
Deluxe stopped coming. How do I change the e-mail address to which Lunch
Deluxe is sent?
|
|
|
That means your ISP or company is blocking mail from our service
mobileStorm (which is sending your Lunch) but not blocking mail
from the PublishersMarketplace.com server (which is sending your
nightly deals).
You should consult FAQ #3 for the solution.

How do I change the e-mail address to which Lunch
Deluxe is sent?
|
|
|
To check the address that's on file and change it if necessary, click the
"your account"
tab on the left, and then use the link to "edit
your contact info/e-mail address." Change the "Private E-mail"
address (which is the one we use for Lunch Deluxe), then click
"submit" when you are finished. It may take one business day for us
to implement the change.

I've missed certain back issues of Lunch Deluxe or Lunch Weekly.
Can you send them to me?
|
|
|
ALL daily and weekly issues are archived by date in the Publishers
Lunch Deluxe archive. Just click the "lunch archive" tab on the left,
or go directly to:
http://www.publishersmarketplace.com/lunch/
to view any issues you may have missed (and to search throughout our archive).
