In 1976, Lynn Franklin founded the international literary scouting agency that would later be incorporated in 1991 with her business partner Todd Siegal as Franklin & Siegal Associates, Inc., dedicated to international literary and film scouting for publishers around the world, and for Hollywood-based film producers. Separately, she incorporated Lynn C. Franklin Associates, exclusively for author representation and associated agency activities.

Michelle Andelman joins Lynn C. Franklin Associates after agenting for three years with Andrea Brown Literary Agency. Specializing in children's books there, she represented authors including Albert Borris (CRASH INTO ME/Simon Pulse), Lauren Strasnick (NOTHING LIKE YOU/Simon Pulse), Dia Reeves (BLEEDING VIOLET/Simon Pulse), and Emily Horner (TOTALLY SWEET NINJA DEATH SQUAD/Dial).
