Pam Strickler is a member of the Association of Authors' Representatives (AAR), an associate member of the Historical Novel Society and of Romance Writers of America, and is a "recognized agent" by the RWA. She started her agency in 2001 and previously was associated as an independent agent with the Scovil Chichak Galen Agency of New York. She also worked 1995-99 as an independent manuscript editor.

Pam is concentrating the work of her agency on historical fiction, women's fiction and romance. While on staff at Ballantine, she served as editor to such women's fiction authors as Fern Michaels and Jennifer Wilde. In historical fiction, two of Pam's bestselling Ballantine authors won the prestigious Western Writers of America Spur award for their frontier epics: Lucia St. Clair Robson and James Alexander Thom. Prior to Ballantine, Pam worked five years at Avon Books.
