Founded in 2000 by Hsih-Hua Liu, jia-xi books is a literary agency that represents foreign publishers, agents, and authors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Australia, Korea, and Japan in the Chinese markets (Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China). jia-xi books also represents Chinese authors in foreign markets, either directly or through sub-agents in many territories. jia-xi books is the first literary agency in Taiwan to specialized in licensing European titles for Chinese rights.
