I'm the author of nine entertaining books on the roots of common phrases and ideas in Western culture. Three of these books cover Shakespeare, and the others range over topics as various as the Bible, great ideas, English poetry, and classical mythology. Since the mid-90s, I've also made a career of designing and developing Web sites (including the entire Publishers Marketplace site). I'm perhaps best known as the developer and Webmaster of AtlasMagazine.com, a Webby-winning journal of photography and design. My work on the Grace Cathedral Web site helped win it a Webby in 2004. Most recently, I designed the logo for Fiesta Red Records and the product package and marketing materials for the Fiest Red release Lowe Country.
