I admire many people in the book business, but those I admire the most are other independent publishers. So having worked in other people’s publishing companies for 20 years, in 2009 I started a new company, The Experiment. My colleagues and I are focused on publishing a wide range of practical nonfiction in the areas of health, nutrition and cooking, fitness, psychology, relationships, self-help, parenting, sexuality, science, and the environment.
In addition to the information you'll find at our Web site about The Experiment and our books and authors, let me also say that I gravitate toward books that present highly proprietary information, are exceptionally utilitarian (although sometimes in nonstandard ways), and which directly address one or another urgent need on the part of readers.
I look forward to hearing from you and to the prospect of doing business with you.
