Genre: Drama
When eighteen-year-old Markus Smith graduates from high school, he feels like something's missing. That's when his mother tells him that his father isn't the man they've been living with for the past sixteen years. His real father's name is Dan Jose, and he died in Vietnam. Dan left Danielle a book filled with letters entailing all of his adventures before he got drafted. As Markus reads the letters, he realizes why he's been feeling so empty. He wants to get to know his real father even though he's dead, and he's going to do it by reenacting all that Dan did in his notebook.
The screenplay is complete.
