Lakeside Book Company announced Friday afternoon that it has acquired Baker & Taylor Publisher Services. The company notes, “Lakeside Book expands its service offering to include distribution and order-to-cash capabilities, providing publishers with streamlined and integrated solutions to sell, print, store, and distribute their books with Lakeside Book Company.” BTPS distributes for over 250 small presses, and previously reported that it had not experienced the same termination layoffs as the Baker & Taylor wholesaling business.
