Doubleday will publish Margaret Atwood‘s BOOK OF LIVES: A Memoir of Sorts on November 4, 2025. The book will be published simultaneously in Canada by McClelland & Stewart and in the UK by Chatto & Windus. US rights were acquired from Karolina Sutton at CAA, with Doubleday vp and executive editor Lee Boudreaux editing. Doubleday writes in a release that the book explores Atwood’s life “from her peripatetic childhood in the Canadian far north, through the writing of THE HANDMAID’S TALE.”
