Netflix released a statement detailing how book adaptations are driving their viewership. In 2025, they said, adaptations amassed more than 4.5 billion views around the world for movies and series including Frankenstein, The Woman in Cabin 10, The Hunting Wives, The Thursday Murder Club, and Ransom Canyon, and book-to-screen content has been in the streamer’s global Top 10 list every week this year.
